Ceramic plate with warm cobalt blue and white printed decoration and floral borders, belonging to a set of twelve called “Old English – 12 months series”. Each plate represents a month of the year. March”: a warmly dressed young man and woman stand in front of a field of wheat; the ears of corn are lying down. The young man is leaning forward, the young woman’s cape fluttering in the wind. A small bridge is visible in the right background.
