Ceramic plate with warm cobalt blue and white printed decoration and floral borders, belonging to a set of twelve called “Old English – 12 months series”. Each plate represents a month of the year. Month of July”: a young boy in summer dress, wearing a sailor’s beret with pompon, follows a young girl in a sleeveless dress as she moves to the left. In the background, a marina setting shows rowboats moored in front of small fishermen’s cottages.
