Plate
The plate is complete; some breaks have been repaired with glue. It is circular in shape, with a plain rim. On the front, the rim is narrow and inclined towards the bottom, and the sock curves towards the bottom, which is slightly concave. On the reverse, the plate is truncated cone-shaped with a small, flat central base. The reverse glaze is pitted with small holes. The body is beige, and the object is covered with a bluish-white enamel. There are three pernette marks arranged in a triangle on the reverse. The enamel on the front is shiny; the decoration is hand-painted in cobalt blue, underglaze. It is vegetal and floral. The decoration is found on the marli, on the wall and on the base. The decoration on the marli is a braid underlined by a line; it is made of the same repeated motif, a long recumbent stem, decorated with a pearl and square-tipped brush-painted leaves, bordered at each end by a wide arc-de-circle. The space between these motifs is decorated with a band topped by a row of oblique lines. The background decoration spills over the wall and consists of a central medallion featuring a blue-painted flower, surrounded by a circle of stars, and long wavy stems, also in a circle.
