Plate
The plate is complete; it has a long crack. It is circular with a plain rim. On the front, the rim slopes slightly inwards, and the wall slopes towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse, the plate rests on a milled foot, the base of which is unglazed; the bottom is recessed and flat. The body is beige, and the object is covered with a bluish-white enamel. There are three traces of a pernette in a triangular pattern on the reverse. The enamel on the front is matte. The enamel around the rim has partially disappeared ; The decoration is hand-painted in cobalt blue, underglaze. It appears on the front and back of the plate. It is of the vegetal type with a flowering vase. The decoration can be found on the marli, on the wall and on the base. The decoration on the border is composed of a braid near the edge and flowers; the braid is composed of a double lattice. The floral motifs are of two alternately repeated patterns: one consists of a central flower bordered by leafy, flowering stems, while the other is a leafy plant motif. The decoration on the wall is a row of Ruyi heads resting on a double ring. The background features a solid terrace on which rests a pot with handles, from which emerges a large flower; from the terrace emerge two large leaves with Sgraffito decoration and stems with large flowers and foliage. On the reverse, the wall is decorated with three wavy lines arranged in a triangle.
