Plate
The plate is complete; there is some missing enamel around the rim and a crack has been repaired with an iron spike. The plate is circular in shape, with an undulating rim. In cross-section, the rim is in line with the marli, which slopes towards the bottom, the wall is very low and curved towards the bottom, which is slightly concave. On the reverse, the plate has a slightly convex base and is truncated cone-shaped. The base is angular. The body is beige and covered with a white glaze. Three traces of linear and triangular pernettes are visible under the marli. There are slight flaws in the enamel on the reverse. The support point and bottom of the plate show traces of wear. The inner base of the plate shows small linear marks. On the reverse, there is a crampon made of a double rusty iron rod, the ends of which are inserted into a pair of drilled holes ; The decoration is molded and hand-painted in polychrome of blue underglaze, and orange and green overglaze. The painted decoration is floral. The molded decoration is visible around the rim of the plate. The painted decoration is applied to the marli and the inner base. The decoration on the marli consists of a blue wavy braid, decorated with two different motifs separated by a third. One motif is a latticework in blue, while the other is made up of half-ovals in orange, trimmed with green-painted beads imitating fish scales. They are separated by an undulating half-oval, traced in orange and trimmed with a blue-painted core. The background is decorated with a few stems, outlined in blue and orange, trimmed with green-painted leaves and stylized flowers outlined and painted in blue and orange.
