Plate
The plate is incomplete, with a missing rim and chips in a few places. It is circular with a plain rim. The marli is thick. The marli is wide and slopes inwards, while its low wall curves towards the flat bottom. On the reverse, the plate rests on an annular foot, with a wide, unglazed base; the bottom is recessed and flat. The reverse features an annular plate around the foot. The body is beige in color, covered with a thin white-beige glaze. There are three oval enamel chips arranged in a triangle on the inner base. Enamel is missing at the junction of the inner wall and the inner band. The underside of the base shows two, if not three, traces of pernette. The enamel on the reverse is dotted with needle holes. The rim has lost its enamel; the decoration is hand-painted in blue. It features vegetal and geometric motifs and is visible on the marli and on the background. The motif on the marli is close to the rim. It consists of a double ring followed by a wavy line trimmed with two rows of staggered solid pearls. The background motif consists of a plant motif surrounded by a double ring, which is surrounded by a ring of concave lines with a trifoliate motif at the top and staggered pearls.
