Ceramic plate with warm cobalt blue and white printed decoration and floral borders, belonging to a set of twelve called “Old English – 12 months series”. Each plate represents a month of the year. November”: a young man, barefoot on the beach, pants rolled up, looks out to sea. Carrying a hutch or basket on his back, he contemplates the remains of a ship aground, hull pitching to the upper left, broken mast to the right.
