Plate
The plate is complete; a break has been repaired with glue. It is circular with a plain rim. On the front, the marli slopes slightly inwards, and the wall slopes towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse, the plate rests on a milled foot, the base of which is unglazed; the bottom is recessed and flat. The body is beige, and the object is covered with a pinkish-white enamel. There are three pernette marks in a triangular pattern on the reverse. The enamel is shiny. The enamel around the rim has disappeared ; The decoration is hand-painted in cobalt blue, underglaze. It is of a stylized plant type. The decoration is found on both the rim and the base. The marli is decorated with a row of trifoliate motifs joined by curves. The background features a stylized leafy plant with flowers. The leaves are painted with a square-tipped brush.
