Plate
The plate is complete. It is circular in shape with a plain rim. On the front, the rim is narrow and inclined towards the bottom, and the low wall curves towards the bottom, which is slightly concave. On the reverse, the plate is truncated cone-shaped with a small, flat central base. The reverse glaze is pitted with small holes. The body is beige, and the object is covered with a bluish-white enamel. There are three pernette marks arranged in a triangle on the reverse. The enamel on the face is shiny. There is a blue painted mark below the bottom: 4. The enamel on the top of the rim has disappeared and is ravaged near the rim. The inner base has numerous linear marks. There are numerous wear marks around the underside of the base; the decoration is hand-painted in cobalt blue, underglaze. It is vegetal and floral. The decoration can be found on the marli, on the wall and on the bottom. The decoration on the border is a broad braid underlined by a line; it is adorned with two alternately repeated motifs, either a beaded latticework, or a recumbent elongated oval crossed by a wavy line, bordered at each end by a wide arc-de-circle. The background decoration is encircled by a triple ring; it consists of a plain, grassy terrace supporting a parallelogram-shaped wicker vase, from which emerge flowering, leafy stems, the leaves shaped like stars and pearls. A butterfly flutters above the plants.
