Plate
The plate is complete; a break has been repaired with glue. It is circular with a plain rim. The rim is wide and sloping towards the bottom, while the wall is low and curved towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse, the plate rests on a milled foot, the base of which is unglazed. The bottom is flat and recessed. The wall is separated from the marli by a bearing. There are three pernette marks arranged in a triangle. There is a mark painted in blue under the base: 13. The enamel is shiny and has small needle holes on the reverse of the plate. The enamel around the rim has partially disappeared ; The decoration is hand-painted in cobalt blue, underglaze. It is vegetal and geometric. The decoration can be found on both the rim and the base. The decoration on the border is a braid delimited near the edge by a fillet and on the inside by a wide, wavy line made up of sections in the shape of a parenthesis. It is filled with two rows of curved lines drawn in dark blue with pearls, in imitation of the fish-scale motif. This motif is regularly interrupted by a wide, blue-painted oval, with a trifoliate pattern and fan-shaped lines. The background motif is a double-ring medallion, with a large full flower in the center, divided into sections. Around the outer ring are two alternating, repeated motifs in the shape of a three-lobed medallion: one features a background of half-oval lines in dark blue and trimmed with three painted pearls, while the other features a background of spirals in dark blue with a full flower in the center.
