Plate
The plate is complete; much of the glaze around the rim has disappeared. The plate is circular, with a plain rim. In cross-section, the marli, which is inclined towards the bottom and slightly concave, is slightly swollen near the rim; the wall is very socked and curved towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse side, the plate has a large, flat bottom that merges with the wall. The wall is flared and the marli is flared and rounded. The body is beige in color and covered with a glossy white glaze. Three linear, triangular-shaped bead marks are visible under the flange. The support point and bottom of the plate show signs of wear. The inner base of the plate shows small linear marks. The glaze on the reverse is pitted with needle holes ; The decoration is hand-painted in underglaze blue. It is floral in style. The decoration is painted on the marli and on the background. The border is decorated with a braid encircled by two thin fillets, and a wider one near the edge. There are two different motifs, alternating crosswise. One design features a row of fan-shaped double oval leaves adorned with staggered pearls. The other motif is a stylized central flower bordered by elongated scrolls; this motif is framed by double arcs. The background is floral. It consists of a leafy stem topped by a flower.
