Plate
The plate is complete. It is circular in shape, with a thick, plain rim. The marli is wide and flat, while the wall is low and curved towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse, the plate has a flat marli and rests on a flat base. The plate’s coat of arms, which is largely obliterated, consists of a shield embellished with oblique lines (gold with five azure bendlets); it is surmounted by an ecclesiastical hat into which a cordelière is inserted, developing into two recumbent 8s, which support ten tassels on either side of the shield. There are two identical punches on the reverse, below the base: they appear to be a plant motif surmounted by a crown with two rows of pearls, the lower row possibly framing capital letters. There are traces of wear under the bottom. There are slight flaws on the front and reverse of the plate. The plate is heavy ; None, except in the shape of the plate.
