Plate
The plate is circular with a wavy rim. It is complete: only a fragment of the upper rim is missing. The rim is thick and flat. The rim is raised, the marli is slightly inclined inwards, the wall is curved and the bottom is slightly domed. On the reverse, the plate rests on a small ring foot; the bottom is recessed and flat. There are three traces of pernettes arranged in a triangle on the reverse of the plate. There are linear marks on the inner base; the decoration is molded and hand-painted underglaze; it is blue in color and of the Shell-edged and Chinese house type. The molded decoration is visible on the marli. The painted decoration is visible on the wall and bottom. The rim is covered with wide, wavy grooves, half of which, near the edge, is covered with a broad, blue-painted line. The decoration on the wall consists of a blue band with alternating double X strokes, X strokes and dashes arranged in an X pattern without crossing. The background decoration is encircled by a ring beneath the band. It consists of an island outlined in blue, with three butons in the center, flanked by stylized trees. In the center stands a house with a triple superimposed roof, topped by a double spiral finial ending in a spearhead. The house is bordered by a fence: to the right are two compartments adorned with vertical boards, while to the left are two compartments adorned with latticework, followed by a vertical post topped by a sphere and a beveled section adorned with vertical boards. Two tall trees line the house behind the fence. At the foot of the island, areas lined with lines aligned in a triangle simulate waves. From the water emerge three spherical rocks arranged in a triangle and outlined with horizontal lines.
