Plate
The plate is complete; there are slight enamel chips around the rim. The plate is circular in shape, with a plain rim. In cross-section, the marli, which is inclined towards the bottom and slightly concave, is slightly swollen near the rim; the wall is very socked and curved towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse, the plate has an almost truncated cone-shaped profile, with a bulging edge. The base of the plate is rounded. The wall is flared and the marli is flared and rounded. The body is pinkish-beige in color and covered with a glossy white glaze. Three traces of linear, triangular beads are visible under the flange. The support point and bottom of the plate show signs of wear. The inner base of the plate shows small linear marks; the decoration is hand-painted in underglaze blue. It is floral in style. The decoration is painted on both the rim and the base. The border is decorated with a braid encircled by two thin fillets, and a wider one near the edge. There are two different motifs, alternating in a cross pattern. One design features a row of fan-shaped double oval leaves adorned with staggered pearls. The other motif is a stylized central flower bordered by elongated scrolls; this motif is framed by double arcs. The background is floral. It consists of a leafy stem topped by a flower.
