Plate
The plate is complete; a portion of the glaze around the rim has disappeared. It is circular with a plain rim. On the front, the rim slopes towards the bottom, and the low wall curves towards the slightly domed bottom. On the reverse, the plate is truncated cone-shaped with a small, slightly concave central base. The reverse glaze is slightly flawed. The body is beige, and the object is covered with a white glaze. There are three traces of a pernette in a triangular pattern on the reverse. The plate is wobbly ; The decoration is hand-painted in blue underglaze. It is vegetal and floral. The painted decoration is spread over the marli and the inner background. The decoration on the border is a narrow braid drawn close to the edge; it consists of a spiked lattice interrupted in seven places by a poly-lobed shape painted in faded blue and trimmed with leaves painted in dark blue, which are encircled by arcs-de-circle painted in pale and dark blue. The background decoration consists of two terraces suggested by touches of pale blue; on one rest long leafy stems, while the other supports what looks like a hedge, from which emerges a leafy, flowering stem.
