Plate
The plate is complete; there is some glaze missing around the rim. The plate is circular, with a plain rim. In cross-section, the marli, which slopes towards the bottom and is slightly concave, is slightly swollen near the rim; the wall is very low and curved towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse side, the plate has a large, flat bottom that merges with the wall. The wall is flared and the marli is flared and rounded. The body is beige in color and covered with a glossy white glaze. Three traces of linear, triangular beads are visible under the marli. There are slight flaws in the enamel. There is a mark painted in blue under the base: C. The support point and bottom of the plate show signs of wear. The inner base of the plate shows small linear marks ; The decoration is hand-painted in underglaze blue. It is floral in style. The decoration is painted on the rim and on the base. The border is decorated with a narrow braid encircled by a thin fillet. There are three different motifs, repeated in alternation. One motif is a wide latticework, with four pearls and a central dot. Another motif, framed by two solid arcs, features a three-lobed motif and a plant motif facing each other in the center, bordered by mirrored plant motifs. The third motif comprises three aligned circles, with an empty core and radiating lines; an embroidery motif with mirrored elements occupies the space between each. The background decoration is floral. It consists of a leafy stem with thorns, topped by a rose-like flower.
