Plate
The plate is complete; a crack has been consolidated with wire. The plate is circular, with a plain rim. In cross-section, the marli, which is inclined towards the bottom and slightly concave, is slightly swollen near the rim; the wall is very low and curved towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse side, the plate has a large, flat bottom that merges with the wall. The wall is flared and the marli is flared and rounded. The body is beige in color and covered with a glossy white glaze. Three linear, triangular-shaped bead marks are visible under the flange. The support point and bottom of the plate show signs of wear. The plate has a crack, which is repaired with a rusty iron wire, the ends of which are inserted into a pair of small circular holes running through the plate; on the reverse, its ends are twisted ; The decoration is hand-painted in polychrome. It has been traced and painted in dark blue underglaze and in red, yellow and green overglaze. It is of the compartmented braid and medallion type. The decoration is painted on the marli, near the edge, and in the center of the background. The border is decorated with a ring-shaped braid. It is outlined in blue and painted in blue and red. The braid is decorated with two repeated motifs. The main motif, in reserve and mirrored, consists of a central flower in reserve between two scrolls set between two wing-shaped quarter-flowers. These flowers are adorned with red radiating lines and a yellow-painted core. The other motif is a double latticework drawn in red and decorated with spikes or diamonds. These two motifs are separated by a half-flower adorned with mirrored red lines and a yellow-painted core, which is set in two vertical blue-painted bands, while the sides are in reserve. The background is decorated with a medallion. It is bordered by a row of blue-painted plant motifs, while the central leaf is painted yellow and decorated with red lines. The space between the motifs is decorated with a triangle drawn in blue and painted green. The central motif is a red quilted background, decorated with a square in reserve traced in blue, on which is a cross-shaped element with a reserve center painted green. The cross element, with its blue background, is adorned with four leaves in reserve, each adorned with veins traced in red with yellow highlights.
