Plate
The plate is circular with a plain rim. It is complete and massive. The rim is thick and slightly rounded. The rim slopes inwards and is slightly concave; the wall is curved and the base is flat. On the reverse, the wall curves down to form a massive, glaze-free ring foot; the bottom is recessed and flat. The decoration is hand-painted on the glaze in gilding and polychromy of green, blue, brown and red; it is of the vegetal type (with a barb). The decoration is distributed over the inner rim and the inner base. On the marli are small, elongated leaf stems, outlined in brown and red and topped with leaves painted green and blue. Near the edge, there’s also a leaf outlined in brown and painted green. The background is dotted with stems like those on the marli, but longer. Three are arranged in a triangle, and another is in the center of the background. A wide gilding line runs around the perimeter. There are three light-brown runs on the marli, in one spot near the edge.
