Plate
The plate is complete; the glaze has disappeared in places around the rim, particularly at the corners. The plate is circular, with an undulating rim. In cross-section, the rim is in line with the marli, which slopes towards the bottom; the latter is slightly domed on the face. The reverse of the plate is almost truncated cone-shaped; the turning rings are visible. The base of the plate is angular. The body is pinkish-beige in color and covered with a bluish-white glaze. On the reverse, the enamel is missing and dotted with small holes. Three traces of linear and triangular pernettes are visible under the marli. The base of the plate shows signs of wear. The bottom of the plate shows small linear traces of wear; the decoration is hand-painted, traced in dark blue and painted underglaze in blue. The painted decoration is of the floral braid and flower type. The painted decoration is applied to the wall below the inner rim and to the inner base. The decoration under the rim is a narrow braid in dark blue. The decoration is in reserve on a blue background. Confined to the upper half of the band, it consists of a series of dark-blue half-leaves, each decorated with a few dark-blue radiating strokes of the acanthus feather stroke type. The central decoration consists of a small flower surrounded by leafy stems. The flower is outlined in dark blue and partially painted in blue. The curved plant stems are outlined in dark blue and the leaves are painted blue.
