Saucer
The saucer is complete. It is circular in shape. The wall is flared at the top, and the top of the rim is corrugated. The wall curves at the base towards the bottom, which is almost flat. It rests on a ring-shaped foot. The underside of the base is recessed and flat. There is a debossed mark under the bottom: 2 ; The decoration is painted on the glaze; it is in pink lustre and non-lustre (Pink lustre), with an English rural motif. The decoration is visible on the rim and inner base. A fillet covers the top of the rim and extends in a wide band along the inner and outer edges. The background features a rural scene, surrounded by a ring. It is composed of two terraces separated by a space in reserve. The lower terrace follows the curve of the background; painted in glossy and non-glossy pink, it features a rural fence and a tall tree. The space between the terraces is decorated with lines simulating tall grasses. The upper terrace is almost flat; it supports a three-quarter view of a thatched cottage with a tall chimney; it is surrounded by trees and overhung by clouds. The decoration is partially erased in places.
