Saucer
The saucer is complete; a break has been repaired with glue. It is circular in shape. The wall is flared at the top, curving towards the wing, which is flat and narrow with a plain outline. The wall curves at the base towards the sock, which is flat. It rests on an annular foot, the fulcrum of which is free of glaze. The underside of the base is recessed and flat. The glaze is cracked and missing in places ; The decoration is hand-painted in polychrome of underglaze blue and overglaze red and gold, on the front and reverse of the object. The decoration is vegetal, in the Japanese Imari style. The inner surface of the object is decorated on the wing, wall and bottom. The wing is adorned with a wide blue fillet with gold highlights, partially faded. The decoration on the wall and back features the same geometric and vegetal motif repeated three times in a triangle; it consists of leaves and scrolls painted in blue, with a flower and motifs painted in red, all with gold highlights. The surface between these shapes is adorned with blue-painted leaves, red scrolls and red flowers painted in orange and gold. The central decoration is surrounded by a blue-painted ring. It consists of leafy stems painted in blue and flowers traced in red and painted in orange and gold. The reverse wall is adorned with three long leafy stems painted blue and topped with flowers painted red, orange and gold.
