Saucer
The saucer is complete; it has a small chip on the rim, which extends into a crack. It is circular in shape, with an undulating rim. It has a wide, slightly inward-sloping wing, a low, curved wall and a flat bottom. It rests on a ring-shaped foot, free of glaze. The underside of the base is recessed and flat; the decoration is molded and hand-painted in blue. The molded decoration is visible around the rim and on the wing. The painted decoration covers the rim, wing, inner wall and bottom, as well as the outer wall. It features a plant motif. The molded decoration is a rim with a wavy edge that extends into small undulations on the wing, visible on the face and reverse. The painted decoration covers the entire inner surface. The rim is decorated with a braid made up of two series of diagonal lines, alternating in one direction and then the other. The decoration on the wing extends along the wall to the perimeter of the back. It is composed of two distinct elements. First, there are four large rectangular medallions, made of a straight double line, but which is wavy at the top; each medallion is adorned with a small solid terrace, supporting short grasses and a leafy, flowering plant. The space between each medallion is occupied by an elongated, leafy, flowering plant. The central decoration is encircled by a double ring. It consists of a three-buttoned terrace, covered with short grasses and topped by two leafy, flowering stems. Between the stems is a bird seen in profile on the terrace. The reverse wall is decorated with two elongated leafy stems.
