Saucer
The saucer is complete. It is circular in shape. The wall is flared at the top and surmounted by a flared wing with an undulating rim. The wall curves at the base towards the sock, which is flat. It rests on a ring-shaped foot. The underside of the base is recessed and flat. The foot is beveled and free of glaze ; The decoration is molded and hand-painted in blue underglaze over glaze. The decoration is vegetal. The molded decoration can be seen on the wall, which is undulated, and continues to the rim, which has an undulating contour. The painted decoration covers the wing, the inner wall and base, as well as the outer wall. Near the rim, the wing is decorated with a narrow ribbon featuring two rows of staggered half-alveoli, interrupted by eight small areas featuring a plant motif framed by arcs. The decoration on the wing and wall is complex. It is based on a double ring that encircles the background decoration and is divided into rectangular panels with three spikes at the top, outlined in blue. Each panel features two small leafy, flowering stems and pollen-like crosses. The space between the spikes at the top of the panels is occupied by what could be a stylized winged insect, traced and painted in blue. The panels are separated by a long-tailed oval, the oval housing a small leafy, flowering stem. The background is decorated with a blue-painted, perforated rock, symbolizing the Chinese philosophy of Taoism, from which emerge long leaves, grasses and a leafy, flowering shrub. The space is occupied by what could be a stylized winged insect and small crosses similar to pollens. The outer wall is adorned with three similar leafy, flowering stems arranged in a triangle.
