Saucer
The saucer is complete. It is circular in shape with sides. The wall flares out at the top and is topped by an extended rim with a flat top. The wall curves at the base towards the sock, which is flat. It rests on a milled foot. The underside of the base is recessed and flat. The foot is beveled and free of glaze ; The decoration is molded and hand-painted in blue underglaze over glaze. The decoration is vegetal. The molded decoration is visible on the wall, which is fluted with wavy corners, and continues to the rim. The painted decoration occupies the inner background. It consists of a grassy terrace, outlined and painted in blue, supporting a tall willow tree and a leafy, flowering shrub. Two birds twirl in the sky. A shiny brown iron-based plaster covers the top of the border.
