Dish
The dish is complete; there is some missing enamel around the rim and some breaks have been repaired with glue, replacing iron studs. The dish is oval in shape, with an undulating rim; the center of the ends is concave. In cross-section, the rim is bulging, the marli sloping towards the bottom and slightly concave; the wall is high and curved towards the bottom, which is flat. On the reverse, the dish has a large, flat base; the wall is flared and the marli is flared and domed. The body is beige in color and covered with a glossy white glaze. Four traces of linear and cross-shaped beads are visible under the marli. The enamel is slightly flawed. The support point and bottom of the dish show signs of wear. There are five pairs of drilled holes running through the dish; each pair is connected by a channel dug in the paste on the face of the dish, which shows traces of iron studs ; The decoration is molded and hand-painted in blue underglaze. It is embroidered and floral. The molded decoration is visible on the contour and on the border. The outline is wavy; the decoration on the marli appears as slight swellings perpendicular to the outline and aligned with the concave parts. The decoration is painted on the marli and on the background. The marli is decorated with a band between two fillets near the edge; this set supports a row of semicircles, while another fillet borders two alternately repeated embroidery elements. Each is made up of mirror-repeated elements, starting from a central element, including a flower with four circular, cross-hatched petals. The background decoration is floral. It consists of leafy stems topped by a variety of similar flowers.
