Bowl
The bowl is complete; there is a crack and some breaks have been repaired with iron studs. It is circular in shape. In profile, the bowl has an inward-sloping wing, a high, curved wall and a flat bottom. The bowl rests on a solid ring-shaped foot. The outer rim of the foot is beveled and free of glaze. The reverse features four pairs of holes into which the ends of four rusty iron spikes fit. The ends of the spikes under the wing are visible on the face of the wing ; The decoration is hand-painted in green, orange and black polychrome enamels over glaze, with gilding, in the Green Family style. It features plant and animal motifs. It is visible on the inner wing, wall and base, as well as on the outer wing and wall. The decoration on the inner wing is a braid traced in red, outlined with a fillet en suite and with gold highlights. It is decorated with a red-dot background featuring, in reserve, leaves traced in red and painted green, and flowers traced in red and painted red and gold. This motif is interrupted by four cross-shaped areas in reserve, decorated with two pairs of motifs traced in red and painted in red and gold: one pair features a stem with long leaves and a flower, and the other features a stem, ribbed leaves and a flower. These motifs are framed by arched bands drawn in red and painted gold. The decoration on the inner wall features four leafy, flowering stems, arranged in a cross and outlined in red. The decoration on the inner base is a medallion composed of a leafy stem traced in red, trimmed with leaves, some traced in red and painted green and others with veins traced in red, and scrolls traced in red. The central element is a large flower traced in red with traces of gilding. On the reverse, the decoration under the wing is identical to that on the inner wall, with four flowering stems. The top of the wall is adorned with a braid similar to that decorating the face of the wing, except for the absence of the reserved areas. The decoration on the outer wall consists of two pairs of plant groups arranged in a cross. They are composed of leafy and flowering stems, traced in red and painted in red and gold; some leaves are painted in green. One pair is adorned with a cricket-like insect, while the other, probably made of lacustrine plants, is decorated with two birds; one is a wader standing in the water and outlined in black, while the other is a multicolored bird in flight. A brown iron-based plaster covers the perimeter of the wing.
