Bowl
The bowl is complete. It is circular in shape, with an undulating rim. The rim is a continuation of the low wall, which curves towards the slightly concave bottom. On the reverse, it rests on a ring-shaped foot whose base is unglazed. The reverse is pitted with small holes. The body is beige, and the object is covered with white enamel. There are three pernette marks arranged in a triangle on the reverse. The enamel on the front is shiny. The decoration is molded and hand-painted in polychrome blue underglaze, followed by iron red, green and yellow overglaze. The molded decoration is on the rim, which is wavy. The painted decoration is under the rim and on the internal background. The decoration is an animal scene with a bird. Below the rim, the decoration consists of a row of palmettes or lambrequins hanging from a blue-painted fillet close to the rim, and adorned with two different motifs repeated alternately; they are outlined in blue and underlined by a line outlined in red. One of the palmettes has a blue background, decorated in reserve with scrolls and leaves adorned with red lines. The other palmette features a green background with blue scrolls and a red-painted vegetal motif. The background is composed of undulating terraces, painted in blue and green, on top of which is a fence, traced in red and blue, and painted in violet and yellow. There are also groups of grasses traced in red, and stems, traced in blue and painted in violet, adorned with leaves, painted in blue and green, and flowers traced in red and painted in red, violet and yellow. On one of the branches stands a long-tailed bird, like a parrot, traced in red and painted in red, yellow, green and blue. An insect twirls in the sky.
