Photography
Black and white photograph. View of the Bordeaux train station, located on the east side of the Canadian Pacific rail line and south of today’s boulevard Gouin. The inauguration in 1876 of the railroad line to Saint-Jérôme (le p’tit train du Nord) and the opening of the station (?) encouraged travel to the north of the city and the development of the village of Saint-Joseph-de-Bordeaux (1898). Since 2006, the track has been used by the Agence Métropolitaine de Transport (AMT) commuter train running between Montreal, Blainville and St-Jérôme.
