L’exposition universelle de Montréal (Expo 67) a été l’évènement le plus important des célébrations entourant le centenaire du Canada, en 1967. Sous le thème humaniste « Terre des Hommes », inspiré d’une des œuvres d’Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, l’exposition a accueilli plus de 50 millions de visiteurs et 120 gouvernements étaient représentés au sein de plusieurs pavillons thématiques.
