Black and white photograph of John Alexander Macdonald (1815-1891), jurist and statesman. He was Prime Minister of Canada from 1867 to 1873, then from 1878 to 1891. He is considered one of Canada’s Founding Fathers, and the father of the Canadian nation. Small oval photo (for medallion).
