Tea bowl
The tea bowl is complete; it has a small crack. It is circular in shape. In profile, the bowl has a wall that flares slightly at the top, topped by a straight rim. The lower part of the wall is curved towards the bottom, which is flat. The bowl rests on a solid ring-shaped foot. The outer rim of the foot is beveled and free of glaze; the decoration is hand-painted in polychrome enamels of pink, green, violet and black. The painted decoration is floral, in the Famille rose style. The decoration is painted under the inner rim and on the outer wall. Under the inner rim, it consists of a braid traced in black and trimmed with a double beaded lattice traced in violet on a mauve background. This latticework is interrupted by four oval-shaped reserve areas, outlined in black and each adorned with a pink flower edged with green leaves. Beneath this latticework, a narrow braid in black is painted green, bordering a row of two-leaf motifs highlighted with a pearl. The decoration on the wall consists of four motifs. The main motif is a cornucopia painted black, from which small flowers in pink and violet emerge, surrounded by leaves painted green and outlined in black. The other motifs are small flowers in pink and violet, surrounded by leaves painted green and outlined in black.
