Tea bowl
The tea bowl is complete. It is circular in shape. In profile, the bowl has a wall that flares slightly at the top, topped by a straight rim. The lower part of the wall is curved towards the bottom, which is flat. The bowl rests on a solid ring-shaped foot. The decoration is hand-painted in polychrome enamels in pink, orange, green, violet and black over glaze. It is floral in the Famille rose style. The decoration is painted under the inner rim and on the outer wall. Under the inner rim, it consists of an orange fillet bordering a row of curved, overlapping strokes; under the strokes hang two rows of small, aligned strokes. The decoration on the wall is repeated on the two opposite walls: it consists of a medallion of orange-painted scrolls, separated by violet-painted leaves. It surrounds flowers painted pink and violet, among leaves painted green with black highlights. The space between the medallions is occupied by three pink flowers among green leaves, arranged in a triangle. Most of the black has been erased.
