Tea bowl
The bowl is complete. It is circular in shape. The wall is slightly flared at the top, and the rim is straight. The wall curves at the base towards the flat bottom. The bowl rests on a straight ring-shaped foot. The bottom is recessed and flat. The decoration is transfer printed and hand-painted, in blue with a floral motif (Three flowers, Flowers). The painted decoration is located under the inner rim: it consists of two superimposed horizontal rings. The printed decoration is visible on both the outer wall and the inner base. On the outer wall, it comprises five motifs. The main motif consists of a group of flowers, including a rose on the right, and a long leafy stem on the left. The other motifs are leafy and flowering stems, and two butterflies with outstretched wings. In the center of the background is a spray of leafy stems garnished with flowers.
