Tea bowl
The tea bowl is complete. It is circular in shape. In profile, the bowl has a wall that flares slightly at the top, topped by a straight rim. The lower part of the wall curves towards the flat bottom. The bowl rests on a solid ring-shaped foot. The base is free of glaze. There are flaws in the inner glaze. The decoration is hand-painted in two-tone blue and red over glaze. The painted decoration covers the inner wall and base, as well as the outer wall. It features a plant motif. Beneath the inner rim is a ribbon traced in blue and adorned with a row of arched cobalt touches, placed in alternating concave and convex strokes. Beneath the ribbon hangs an alternating red-painted plant motif and three red stems with blue beads. The background is adorned with a leafy, flowering stem painted red. The outer wall features three different leafy, flowering stems, separated by three plant stars painted in succession. The lower part of the outer wall is decorated with a red horizontal fillet.
