The stein is complete. It is bell-shaped, with a wall slightly narrowed at mid-height, topped by a flared rim with a domed top, which widens at the base. The base of the wall is narrowed and rests on a circular pedestal with a flat, wide, glaze-free base. The center of the base is recessed and flat. It is fitted with a massive vertical handle of circular cross-section, with a tail at its base. The handle appears empty, with a circular hole on the inside ; The decoration is hand-painted in underglaze blue. The decoration is floral. The painted decoration is visible under the rim and on the outer wall, as well as on the handle and pedestal. The decoration under the rim is a broad braid underlined by a fillet; it is painted blue and divided into two zones separated by a sloping band in reserve and repeated alternately. The area opposite the handle is decorated in reserve with a small flower edged with leaves, while the adjacent areas are decorated with a double trellis with spikes traced in blue on the blue background, with a half-flower in reserve. The base of the wall is adorned with a net that supports, on the area opposite the cove, an uneven terrace on which rest boulders and various leafy stems and garnished with flowers, including two large ribbed flowers, probably peonies. One of the rocks supports a wooden box that appears to contain scrolls, an inverted baluster vase from which a long leaf and a small container with a lid emerge. The opposite wall is adorned with two similar leafy, flowering stems resting on the fillet. The wall on either side of the handle is decorated with ribbed leaves. The outside of the handle features a long leafy stem supporting a ribbed flower. The foot is adorned with a fillet supporting a row of Ruyi heads, alternating with small triangles.
