The stein is complete; a break in the wall has been repaired with glue. The stein is circular in shape; in cross-section, it is pyriform with an outwardly flaring rim and beveled top. The base is narrowed. It rests on a smoothly contoured pedestal; the base is recessed and flat, with a circular, uneven pontil mark in the center. It is fitted with a massive vertical handle of flat cross-section. Its ends are folded downwards; the upper end rests on the wall below the rim, while the other rests on the wall above the base, and has a raised, folded tail ; The decoration is molded. It is geometrically patterned. The outer surface of the rim is decorated with slight horizontal swellings. The lower part of the wall is swollen and decorated with almost vertical grooves (Gadronned). The handle, which has been molded separately, has slight vertical grooves on the inside and outside.
