Dessert plate reproduction
The plate is complete. It is circular in shape, with an undulating rim. The rim slopes slightly inwards; the wall is low and curves towards the flat bottom. On the reverse, the plate rests on a milled foot; the bottom is recessed and flat. There are four pernette marks arranged in a triangle under the bottom. Under the bottom, there is an intaglio mark: D.G.CARPENTIER 98; the decoration is molded and painted. The molded decoration is visible on the edge of the marli. It consists of a row of small, straight incisions perpendicular to the rim, covered by a broad line colored green with copper oxide, which has run down the reverse.
