The lid is complete; a break has been repaired with glue. The lid is octagonal. It has the shape of a dome with a flat top and a flat eight-sided wing. It is topped by a spherical vertical knob ending in a cone. It has a ring-shaped collar. Black painted numerals on the inside: 6363; The decoration is molded and hand-painted in polychrome cobalt blue, underglaze, and red and green overglaze. The pattern is oriental floral. The molded decoration affects the shape of the lid, which has eight vertical sides adorned with vertical flutes, and domed corners. The painted decoration covers the entire surface of the lid, from the wing to the top of the knob. The wing is adorned with a row of tongues in two alternating patterns, outlined in blue; one series is painted green, while the other is adorned with a fork painted red. The base of the wall is decorated with two superimposed fillets. The main decoration covers the wall and part of the top, where it is encircled by a ring in red. It consists of two groups of flowers traced in red emerging from leafy stems traced and painted in green and blue. The wall of the bud is adorned with a row of alternating tabs in red; one row is trimmed with a leaf painted green, while the other is adorned with a solid palmette painted red. The top of the knob bears the trace of a radiating pattern painted red.
