Teapot cover
The lid is complete. It is circular in shape, with a plain contour; its top is almost flat, with a gripping knob in the center. There is a circular hole drilled through the top, near the center. The underside of the wing and the collar are glaze-free; the decoration is molded and hand-painted underglaze in monochrome blue. The decoration is visible on the grip knob, which has been molded separately to match the shape of a fruit in high relief trimmed with three leaves applied to the top of the lid. The painted decoration is visible on the top of the lid. It consists of three concentric rings, from the rim to the center, traced and painted in blue, with different decorations: the outer ring is decorated with groups of oblique hatchings in two directions and placed alternately, while the central one is adorned with a row of rhombuses topped with pearls; the inner ring is decorated with a row of half ovals separated by a line and topped with a central pearl. The center of the lid, on the side opposite the steam outlet, is adorned with three small rocks surmounted by grasses and flanked by long, superimposed curved lines.
