Teapot cover

The lid is complete. It is circular in shape, with a plain-edged wing. In profile, the wing is slightly inclined towards the rim and flat on the underside, with a beveled edge. The wall of the lid is curved towards the top, which is flat. The center features an oval grip knob with pointed top. The lid has a circular collar. There is a small circular hole through the wall, close to the knob ; The decoration is transfer-printed in blue. It covers the wall and the rim. It features a Chinese motif. The wing features a latticework braid regularly interrupted by a plant motif surrounded by arched lines. The wall is decorated with two similar terraced scenes on opposite sides: one terrace features rocks and two shrubs, while the other is free-standing.
