Teacup
The cup is complete. It is circular in shape. The wall is slightly flared at the top, and the rim is open towards the outside, while the periphery is plain. The lower third of the east wall curves towards the flat bottom. It rests on an annular foot, whose fulcrum is free of glaze. The bottom is recessed and flat. The cup is fitted with a rectangular vertical handle. It has two external bulges at the top, one at the junction with its vertical arm; its lower arm is parallel to that of the top, and its lower portion is concave. Its ends are bent downwards: they are molded into a point. The cross-section is oval. The glaze is slightly flawed, both inside and out ; The decoration is molded and hand-painted in polychrome and brown overglaze; it is floral in style. The molded decoration is visible on the outer wall. It consists of four double scroll medallions. From the base of each one emerges a vertical leafy and flowering stem; at their upper junction, they form a cartouche closed at the base by a shell in two cases, and by three vertical sticks in two others. The polychrome decoration is painted in pink, mauve, yellow, orange and green. It consists of four different groups of flowers and leaves, arranged in large medallions. A brown coating covers the top of the cup rim, and there is a similarly painted horizontal line on the outside of the foot.
