Spice box
The spice box is complete. It is oval in shape with an undulating rim. The top is flat, while the straight wall curves towards the flared pedestal. The base is wide and free of glaze. The bottom is recessed and flat. Inside, the box is divided into three compartments, two of which are the same size, while the third is larger. The body is beige in color and covered with glossy white enamel. There is the appearance of a blue-painted mark under the background:! The decoration is molded and hand-painted in blue underglaze. It is of the compartmented braid type. The molded decoration is visible on the corrugated wall and foot. The painted decoration is visible on the upper part of the outer wall and on the foot. The upper part of the outer wall is decorated with a compartmented fillet, composed of three alternately repeated elements. One is in reserve on a blue-painted background: it consists of two scrolls between two half-leaves; these flowers are adorned with radiating lines. The other consists of a latticework with pearls. These two motifs are separated by a blue-painted half-flower, set in two blue-painted vertical bands, while the sides are in reserve. The foot is decorated with a blue fillet.
