Ravier

The serving dish is complete; a break has been repaired with glue. It is elongated oval in shape, with a domed bulge in the center of the long sides. In cross-section, the object has a flat bottom with a flared wall and a rim with a very narrow sloping wing. The rim has a plain contour. There is an intaglio mark below the base: WEDGWOOD; the decoration is painted over the glaze. It is visible on the marli, near the rim; it is in the Brown-edged pattern. It is a narrow braid underlined by a line.
