Chinese Dong festival hat in the shape of a crown. With 13 Taoist Immortals (deity). Fine Dong embroidery with elaborate gimping and twisting of silk threads. Trimmed with gold layer. The ruyi-shaped upper crown has two silk dragons guarding a treasure. Elaborate top with full-coverage embroidery. Colorful sequins, some in floral shapes. 12 pompoms with plastic beads on the back, as well as metal bells and ornaments. Metal Immortals are detailed for easy identification. The dark purple velvet base is lined with hand-woven indigo-dyed cotton.
