Hat child
Chinese Dong festival hat in crown form. Sections of red silk appliquéd and skilfully embroidered with coiled thread motifs, and elaborated with lots of gold leaf coating and a few sequins. Five tassels with glass beads. Six tassels with silver-alloy bells and amulet fish. On the front, 11 metal-alloy immortals. Black velvet base and padded lining in hand-woven dark indigo-dyed cotton with green silk ribbon on the back.
