Chinese Dong festival hat in the shape of a crown. Elaborate embroidery of silk tassels and braids on appliqué pieces attached to a purple silk base. Small hollow metal figurines of the Eight Immortals attached, as well as bells and other parts (tassels, pompons). Hand-woven indigo cotton lining.
