Dessert plate reproduction

The plate is complete. It is circular in shape, with an undulating rim. The rim slopes slightly inwards, with a low wall that curves towards the flat base. On the reverse, the plate rests on a flat base. There are three pernette marks arranged in a triangle under the base. Under the base, the plate is debossed: D.G.CARPENTIER 96, and hand-engraved: NOT FOR FOOD; the decoration is molded and imprinted. The molded decoration is visible on the edge of the marli. It consists of a row of alternating groups of small curved stems with rounded heads, followed by a longer one (Feather edged). The green-colored glaze covering the object gives it a decorative appearance.
