Toothpaste jar

The pot is almost complete, with chips on the rim of the neck and on the foot. It is circular in shape, with a straight, thick wall. The top of the wall has a flat, narrow shoulder, and a recessed annular neck with a slightly domed top. The base of the wall is domed. The inside of the pot is concave. The pot rests on a foot with a flat, wide, glaze-free base. The underside of the base is recessed and flat. There is an incised ring in the center of the bottom, which is adorned with a small incised triangle. The pot is stained with iron rust; the rim and wall of the lid are decorated with black veins applied by impression.
