Tile

The tile is complete; a broken corner has been glued back into place. It is square in shape. The edge is slightly beveled. The body is beige and hard. There are slight traces of enamel and mortar on the back; the decoration is hand-painted blue. It is of the lacustrine type. Painted in the center of the tile, it is surrounded by a double ring and consists of a house with a double-gabled roof and smoking chimney, on a terrace; it is surrounded by a fence. A mountain is painted in the background, and birds flutter in the sky. Poles emerge from the water, and a swan swims in them. The corners are adorned with a geometric motif, consisting of a stem covered with superimposed lines, trimmed with two scrolls and topped with a trifoliate flower.
