Historical context
Pierre-Théophile Legaré (1851-1926) de Charlebourg fonde une entreprise d’outils agricoles avec son père vers la fin des années 1860. L’entreprise grandit tranquillement et, en 1912, compte 11 succursales en plus de vivre quelques changements de partenaires. En 1916, P.T. Legaré achète la Percival Plow and Stove Company Limited.
